Something about me... As a wildlife artist and outdoor enthusiast, I considers conservation an important part of my life. I believe it’s our duty to help preserve nature and the balance it gives us. This is what motivates my involvement with conservation groups such as Ducks Unlimited. These organizations create awareness of the preservation of our natural landscapes and protect our outdoor traditions for generations to come (and this is 'one' of my motivations to paint. - Now enjoy the artwork and thanks for stopping by!
I’ve been busy the last couple weeks working on a few ‘duck stamp’ entries and painting remarques. What’s a remarque? A Remarque is a small, personalized drawing or painting that I add to a print often near my signature. The presence of a remarque increases the print’s value and makes it a little more personal for the collector. - Thought I would share a few I’ve finished.
My painting has been selected to be featured on the 2008-2009 Nevada Duck Stamp after only my first time entering the competition. What an honor to represent the state of Nevada and their wildlife tradition.
